Free HackAlert as a special bonus for all upgrades to Hosting PLUS
SiteGround has announced the following promotion for its existing customers: for the next one week each standard shared account that is upgraded to the PLUS version of the hosting plan will receive one year free use of the latest malware monitoring service HackAlert. Both services (Hosting PLUS and HackAlert), are relatively new in the SiteGround portfolio. They have been introduced during the summer and the current promotion aims to make more of the customers aware of these services benefits.
The Hosting PLUS plan allows hosting multiple domains on one account and at the same time provides 2 times more CPU than the standard shared hosting for the account. It also includes additional service like daily backup, premium support and SSH for free. The new plan targets all people, who insist on having all the possible extras for their website and still take advantage of the affordable shared server pricing. Since its launch in August, the Hosting PLUS is chosen by a constantly growing number of people over the standard shared hosting offer.
HackAlert is developed by the security industry leaders GlobalSign. It can monitor daily a website and send timely notifications to its owners when a suspicious code is detected. Such type of security services are becoming more and more important, as an online business can be seriously disturbed if its website is infected with malware. This is not only harmful for the visitors, but can often cause blacklisting by Google and other search engines, that can stop showing the infected website in their search results.
SiteGround believes that adding HackAlert to its PLUS plan will make this offer among the most comprehensive in terms of security on the shared hosting market. Of course, HackAlert can be added as a separate service to any standard shared hosting account.
