How to export MySQL Database?
There are two ways to export your database from your account:
- Export it from your Site Tools > Site > MySQL > phpMyAdmin tool. Select the database from the menu on the left, click on Export and then on the bottom of the page on Go. You can find information on how to do that in our tutorial here.
- Perform the export via SSH connection. This article explains how to use that method.
It is recommended to use the SSH method for databases larger than 50MB to avoid time out during the export and result in a corrupted backup file.
