Google Workspace Account Setup

If you purchase your Google Workspace service through SiteGround, you have to go through the following steps to complete your account setup before being able to use it.

1. Set up your username

You will be prompted to set up your username while placing your order with SiteGround. The chosen username will be:

  • your first Google Workspace user;
  • set as your account admin;
  • used to log into your Google Workspace account.

2. Set up your password

While placing your order with SiteGround, you will also be asked to provide a valid, current email address needed for the password setup.

On this email address, you will receive an email directly from Google prompting you to create your first password. To set it up, click on the link “here” inside the first bullet.

Once you click on the link, you will be redirected to a page with some additional Google Workspace service information.

Once you proceed, you will be redirected to a page where you are prompted to input your desired password for the Google Admin console. Using a strong password is a must.

3. Accept Service Terms

Next, you’ll be redirected to the Google Admin, where you can review and agree to the Google Workspace terms and conditions that apply to the account type you’ve ordered.

IMPORTANT! Reviewing and accepting the terms on this screen is required in order to start using the Google Workspace service.

Once the terms of service are accepted, you will be redirected to your admin console, where you can start using your service. From now on, you will be able to login to your Google Workspace service with the username and password set within the process described above.
