How to Change the Color of Text Overlaying an Image

To change the color of a text overlaying images in sections which combine text and image, navigate to Site Builder and click Customize.

From the Content section’s left column go to the page where you want to change the section’s text color.

Click on the text which you wish to style.

Now go to the left column and look for Section Color.

From there, you can change the color of the text by selecting different options using any of the predefined color combinations.

The text and background color come in predefined bundles in order to ensure accessibility and other standards where color contrast is respected. This means that, looking at the example on the screenshot, if you wish your text to be in white color, you can choose either color combination “black background + white text” or “blue background + white text” and this choice will not only affect your text color, but the color of the “Overlay” if you have enabled it. You may change these default color combinations from Style section > Colors.
